Goodbye Hobaggageclaim, Hello Haley Hill

This officially is the commencement of my officially official blog as Haley Hill. Sounds official right? I have laid to rest my former rapper name Hobaggageclaim, and re-introduced myself as Haley Hill. Why the sudden change, you ask. Well here's the story. Considering I just picked up and left my small hometown of Sonora and moved to the not-so-small town of San Diego, my attempt to pursue my dream of rapping has taken a more serious turn. In all honesty, the name Hobaggageclaim, though it was freaking awesome, created more drama than awesomeness. I didn't want to have to explain its origin (Hohengarten-Ho-Hobag-Hobaggageclaim) and its pronunciation (Ho-Baggage-Claim, really difficult). Also, I grew weary of proudly defending my name to those who couldn't understand that the Ho part of Baggageclaim was merely a nickname, not a name with negative connotation attached. So, the new name on my name tag is Haley Hill, obviously derived from my first and middle names. But don't worry, I'll always be Hobaggageclaim at heart. And those who have Hobaggageclaim shirts and Hobaggageclaim CD's and Hobaggageclaim tattoos, continue to wear them with pride.
